Itapecerica is a municipality located in the center of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The population is 22,109 (2015 est.) in an area of 1041 km².〔(Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística )〕 The city belongs to the meso-region of Oeste de Minas and to the micro-region of Formiga.
